He retired from international cricket in 2020 after a long career, and his professional details include captaining Zimbabwe in ODIs and T20Is and representing teams like Zimbabwe, Africa XI, and various franchises in leagues like the Bangladesh Premier League and Pakistan Super League. He is highly regarded as one of Zimbabwe's greatest all-rounders, notably being the second player from the country to achieve the double of 4,000 runs and 100 wickets in ODIs.
