Hamid Hassan is a retired 38-year-old Afghan cricketer who is now involved in mentoring young fast bowlers and cricket development for Afghanistan. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, he is known for his aggressive bowling and is the first Afghan cricketer to have played at Lord's, representing the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). As of 2025, he continues to inspire the next generation of Afghan cricketers through his experience and guidance.
