• Team Victories: He was a key member of the Pakistan teams that won the 2009 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy.
• Captaincy: He captained the Pakistan national team from 2007 to 2009, leading them to 24 ODI wins out of 36 matches.
• Individual: He scored the joint-fastest fifty in the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. His match-saving Test innings of 148* against Sri Lanka in 2006 is also a memorable achievement.
