Tim Paine is an Australian former cricketer who has retired from playing but is now serving as the coach for the Australia A team. As a player, the right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman represented Australia and the Hobart Hurricanes, among other domestic teams. His career was highlighted by a pivotal role as the 46th Test captain of Australia after the 2018 ball-tampering scandal, where he led the team through a period of rebuilding.
